The World Health Organization, WHO has debunk any idea that Africa will be used as a testing ground for vaccines in the ongoing fight against Covid-19.

Coronavirus: "Africa can't and won't be used as a testing ground for vaccines" – WHO cries out

This comes after two top French doctors discussed testing a trial for a coronavirus

vaccine on “poor Africans.” One of the doctors later issued an apology.

This has raised eyebrows from Africans as

celebrities and citizens have taken to

social media to make their presence felt

asking why Africa should be used as a

testing ground for such thing.

World Health Organization, WHO have now stated that Africa can’t and won’t be a testing

ground for any vaccine.

This was disclosed by WHO’s Director General Dr. Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus

who noted that the organization does not have such motive in mind.

The doctors’ remarks during that TV

debate sparked global outrage as they

were accused of racism and colonialism.

Coronavirus have caused the death of thousands of people across the globe ever since it was detected in China.

Citizens of countries have been advised by

the health organization to take all

preventive measures seriously so as to stop further outspread of the virus.

Top Government officials have been a victim of the deadly virus.

Just yesterday, UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson was admitted to hospital for

tests, 10 days after testing positive for coronavirus.

According to a spokeswoman, Mr Johnson “continues to have persistent symptoms of coronavirus” including a high temperature.

The decision has been described as a “precautionary step” and was taken on the advice of his doctor.

Despite his health issues, the prime minister remains in charge of the UK government.
