Veteran Nollywood actress, Funke Akindele has revealed the main reasons why she held her husband’s birthday party despite the Lagos State lockdown.
Recall that Funke Akindele broke the lockdown rules some hours ago when she
held a birthday party in honour of her husband house at Lagos State despite that
the government warned that social gathering should stop at this time.
Funke Akindele has now come out to reveal her side of the story just hours after
she started receiving backlash from fans on social media.
According to the award winning actress and movie producer, guest who were at the
party were members of her crew who were stranded at the estate where she live due
to the pandemic disease.
Funke Akindele noted that Naira Marley was also in the estate before the
Government annouced total lockdown in Lagos State as she apologized for any
havoc she might have caused.

Fans on social media have been calling put the celebrity star ever since a footage of the birthday party surfaced online.
Despite fans outcry on the internet, Funke Akindele’s husband, JJC Skillz also
slammed those who are criticising them for their actions.
Via a video which has now gone viral on social media, JJC Skillz called out the so called fans as he noted that they are just wasting their saliva and data.
However, Funke Akindele’s explanation on the subject matter might eased the frustration of her fans who were concerned about her action.
