“I date decent girls; not the Wendy Shay type” – Kelvynboy

It appears the beef between Ghanainan afrobeat artiste, Kelvyn Boy and Ghanainan singer, Wendy Shay may not be resolved soon.

In Kelvyn Boy’s recent interview, he disclosed that Wendy Shay was not the type of girl he would love to date.

On a Ghanaian show “The Delay Show”, the afrobeat artiste was asked if he likes Wendy Shay, and his response was that Wendy Shay was not his type of girl

According to him, he would rather settle with beautiful and decent ladies like Delay (the hostess).

“I don’t love Wendy Shay. She is not my type of girl.”

“My type of girl is a decent lady like you (Delay). She is not my type.” Kelvyn Boy stated.

Rumours of the beef between Kelvyn Boy and Wendy Shay began a few months ago at a Unity Press Conference between Shatta Wale and Stonebwoy when Kelvyn Boy came under criticism for ignoring a hug from Wendy Shay.

Commenting on the incident, Kelvyn Boy stated that he did not do that on purpose.

However, after the incident, Wendy Shay’s manager, Bullet went on social to claim Kelvyn did that out of jealous of his artiste.

According to Bullet, Kelvyn Boy was pained that Wendy won the New Artiste of the Year award at the 2019 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards which Kelvyn Boy thought he deserved.
