Big Brother Naija reality star, Mike Edwards have opened up on how Nigeria healthcare system failed his brother who died of sickle cell some years ago

With the fight against bad governance still going on in Nigeria, top personalities

have continue to open up on how they’ve lost their loved ones due to the inability

of the leaders to provide good infrastructure to the citizens.

Some days ago, award winning singer, Rema revealed how he lost his brother

due to the bad healthcare system.

According to Rema, his brother had gone for a surgery and had to undergo the

process in an hospital where there was no light and thus had to be operated

with a candle light.

With the surgery leading to his death, Rema lamented on how bad governance have

been causing the death of people in the past few years.

However, the singer is not the only one who have experienced such sad incident as

Mike who rose to fame after participating at the fourth edition of Big Brother Naija

reality show tagged ‘Pepper Dem’ noted that his brother died at the age of 10.

Mike noted that his brother who died due to sickle cell crisis would have been alive

if there was a better health care system in the country.

Not leaving any stone unturned, Mike noted that fight against EndSars and police brutality is also meant to end bad governance and corruption.
