Da Grin was on top of his game in 2010 as he was making hits back to back with his

great rap talent as well as a new style of music the industry has never seen.

However, Da Grin died at the age of 25 on 22 April 2010 after a vehicle accident in

Lagos, Nigeria and has been celeberated ever since then by Nigerians who were

saddened by the death of such talented rapper as such tender age.

Though he might be dead but his legacy lives on as Nigerians took to social media to celebrate 10 years of his demise.

Award winning rapper Olamide was not left behind as he also took to his social media

platforms to pay homage to Da Grin who is also popularly known as Barrack O Grin.

Olamide shared a throwback video of the Ogun state born singer having an interview

at the industry night show in a style that no one would have even think and captioned it

with a message to the talented rapper.

Despite not being able to fulfill his dream, he is regarded as one of the best

rapper Nigeria have ever seen as his album are still being played across the globe.

Da Grin dished out some hit singles during his lifetime, singles like “Pon Pon Pon”, and “Kondo” were one his hit tracks.

The talented rapper also worked with other Nigerian artists such as Y.Q, 9ice, M.I, Iceberg Slim, Omobaba who were one of the biggest names at that time.
