Amidst all the drama and tragedy that have occurred in the last few days about xenophobia & xenophobic attacks by South Africans on Nigerians living in South Africa, we stil somehow haven’t asked the fundamental question.

But Nigerian singer Yemi Alade seemed to have just hit the nail on its head by simply making that bold statement to put that important question to the powers that be.

The multiple awards singer shared a snapped tweet (seen above) and asked the simple basic question that could probably end up being a rhetorical question. She noted: “The question from the 1st day of our independence till now. #NIGERIA”
