CNN anchor, Richard Quest has tested positive for the deadly Coronavirus as the number of infected citizens keep increasing.

Richard Quest who presents Quest Means Business, said on Monday evening (April

20) took to his Twitter account to annouce that he had been infected by the virus.

The new York-based journalist wrote on Twitter:

“I have caught coronavirus.”  “I am blessed in that I have few symptoms, just a cough. I am saving my prayers and thoughts for those less fortunate. Stay in. And protect lives.”

Quest joins several of his CNN colleagues who have contracted the virus.

CNN anchor Chris Cuomo, the brother of New York governor Andrew Cuomo, had

the coronavirus diagnosed at the end of March but continued to anchor his evening

programme from home.

The deadly pandemic virus have killed thousands of people across the globe with

the United States one of the most affected country in the world.

European countries such as Italy and Uk have also feel the impact of the virus which has cause the breakdown of economy and public activities around the globe.

World Health Organization are yet to find the vaccines for the virus as they implore

all citizens to stay at home and prevent themselves by taking all safety precautions.
