D’Banj’s rape accuser, Seyitan Babatayo have released a statement on what she has went through ever since she accused the singer of raping her.

It would be recalled that the death of Uwaila, a girl who was raped and killed

have seen many rape victims come out to speak on their past trauma with Seyitan being among them.

However, ever since Seyitan accussed D’Banj of raping her, there have been a lot

of dramas as she was arrested and detained at the police station hours after

the singer filed a lawsuit against her.

Though some tweets on her Twitter handle claimed she was not arrested, fans

accussed D’Banj of forcing her into tweeting such tweets.

D’Banj who also responded to the jibes online by mocking critics via his old song

have now been accused by Seyitan who claimed she was arrested and detained like a criminal.

In a press statement released early this morning, Seyitan lamented about how she

has been treated by the singer ever since she made the accusation known to the public.

Recalling how some armed men had arrest her in her house, Seyitan revealed that she was treated like a criminal for an offence

she had not committed.

She noted that the support she has received from the general public as well as

mother have helped her in pursuing her case against the award winning singer.

Seyitan revealed how she has been dealing with the trauma that comes with being raped as she ask for Justice.
