Celebrity stylist and Fashion designer, Toyin Lawani has recounted her traumatizing experience when she was a teenager.
The beautiful stylist revealed this in an interview with Chude Jideonwo, as she revealed she was raped at the age of 15 by a relative which is her uncle.
Toyin Lawani noted that she didn’t tell anyone about the rape incident and even her husband doesn’t even know she was raped at such a young age.
According to the star, she actually got pregnant from the rape and had to get an abortion because she was too young to have a child.
She revealed further that her aunty suggested the abortion, which they had to go to Ibadan to look for a doctor to take out the growing fetus.
According to her, her mother was so mad when she eventually heard about the incident and this left her mother in a devastating position.
She also stated that this incident contributed to her being strict with her kids.
A lot of Nigerians have taken to their socials to sympathize with her, as many have called her a really strong woman.
