‘Silencing a rape victim is further emotional abuse’ – Emma Nyra attacks D’Banj

Talented singer and songwriter, Emma Nyra has reacted to the rape allegations levied against D’Banj by a model named Seyitan.

It would be recalled that the drama between Seyitan and D’Banj is getting

more intense after the singer was accused was silencing the model by arresting her

hours after he asked for 100 million naira compensation.

Seyitan who however claimed she was not arrested noted she has moved on from the

drama and will not be making any comments on the case, a statement fans

noted she was pressured into saying.

With the rape drama still trending on social media, Emma Nyra took to her Twitter

handle to call out D’Banj and some of her colleagues in the entertainment industry.

According to Emma Nyra who revealed how she suffered from molestation in the

past noted that it’s high time rape victims are treated accordingly and as a victim of heinous crime.

Emma Nyra who couldn’t hide her emotions on how she felt about Seyitan’s

case with D’Banj noted that silencing a rape victim is a further emotional abuse to

the one they’ve already suffered.

She noted that all the male celebrities and notable personalities she explained her

trauma to in the past are now trying to speak up despite that they continue working with him.

Emma Nyra however urge all rape victims to speak up in any situation adding that shes behind Seyitan in this torrid event she has found herself.
