The name Oluwaseun Osowobi might sound familiar to most Nigerians, as she is a

COVID-19 Survivor, and she revealed that she was fighting a spiritual battle with

Coronavirus while she was at the Isolation center in Lagos.

Oluwaseun Osowobi via an instagram  that she is  just grateful to be alive and  her

experience of been infected with COVID-19 made her appreciate life  more.

She said while she was in the UK , she was been very careful and doing all the necessary

things to keep safe.

So while on a flight back to Nigeria she noticed she started feeling very sick, sweating and

the same time having  cold.

so when she landed at the airport she asked the medical team on ground to check her,

they discovered she was running high temperatures, so they instructed her to step aside for a while.

Couple of minutes later they came to check her temperature again she was  feeling alright

as her temperatures had dropped back to normal.

Oluwaseun Osowobi said it felt OK until she got home and it got worse and there she knew

something was wrong with her.

she revealed that she instructed her parent not to come close to her and gave them

specific instructions so has to avoid contacting the COVID-19 Virus.

Meanwhile she already called her friend and also called NCDC to tell them about her

symptoms while also revealing her travel history.

Few days later NCDC showed up and took the Test for COVID-19 and told her to check back

for result the following day.

Oluwaseun Osowobi also talked about her time at the isolation center and how she formed

a bonding relation with all the doctors and medical team.

achieve while also sharing how she became a prayer warrior , choir leader and leading

church service all during her 2 weeks stay at the Isolation center as it became not just

a Medical battle to stay alive but also a spiritual battle.

Oluwaseun said:

I was fighting a Spiritual Battle with Coronavirus.

In the concluding part of her live interview seun answered some questions regarding the

COVID-19  while also using the medium to emphasize that no one should stigmatize

anyone with COVID-19 as it only creates more loop holes in finding people affected by

the virus and makes reducing the spread more difficult.

Oluwaseun Osowobi is the founder of the S.T.E.R Initiative which means Stand to End Rape

Initiative a Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) established over 6 years ago.

It is a youth-led organization advancing human rights, promoting SRHR and advocating

against gender-based violence through advocacy and support.

She was recently in the UK for a summit that supports her Work and that was where

she contacted COVID-19, thanks to the Brilliant Effort of the Lagos State Government

and its brilliant Medical team who helped her recover from it after two weeks.
