Media Personality, Toke Makinwa urge celebrities to stop filming recipients of their gifts during this tough time.
It’s no longer a news how much Nigeria celebrities have stormed various rural
areas across the country in showing their support to the Government in the war
against the Coronavirus.
However, the celebrities are fond of filming the privileged fans who are given the food
stuffs or cash gifts, an act Toke Makinwa is not pleased with.
The beautiful author and vlogger via a series of tweets have now called on her
fellow celebrities in the industry to stop such act as she noted that it’s not a good
behavior.
Noting that she’s not shading any celebrity or calling any one out, Toke Makinwa added that they can film themselves for
documentation but they should try and blur the face of the citizens.
Toke Makinwa tweeted;
Notable celebrities have joined the Government in the fight against the deadly
virus as they’ve been giving out to their fans.
Tonto Dikeh through her foundation has been distributing some free relief materials to thousands of Nigerians.
The likes of comedian AY, Peter Okoye and a host of others have taken to their social
media platforms to give out some cool cash which will be useful to their fans in
this tough time.
Some notable entrepreneurs have also donated huge sum of amount to the
Government relief package so as to ensure that the virus is contained.
It’s however not surprising that Toke Makinwa urge celebrities to stop filming
cause majority of them are used to it.
Fingers are crossed whether the sexy screen diva will not be attacked for her resolution on the subject matter.
