The Wait Is Over-BECE Results Ready

The Examination monitoring body for primary and secondary schools in West Africa, West African Examination Council will (WAEC) will soon release the official 2019 BECE results.

The Basic Education Certificate Examination(BECE) was written on 10th to 14th June, 2019.

The wait is over, the 2019 BECE results is ready to be released by WAEC. In 2018, WAEC published the results on Friday 24th August 2018. The date for the release that has popped up is Wednesday, 28th of August 2019.

However, WAEC releases results within 90 days after every examination has been written. Pushing the release into september would mean SHS first years will go to school late.  

Also, if the release that of 28th August is correct per the information gathered, WAEC would have released the results exactly 75 days after the exams was taken.

Nevertheless, WAEC releases results within 90 days after every examination has been written. Pushing the release into september would mean SHS first years will go to school late.  

The release of the result will calm the nerves of candidates who sat for the exams. Many of them have taken to social media and google to find out when the results will be released. Every candidate is anxious to check his or her result. They Know the result will help them know their faith. The release of the result will be followed by the school placement which is also released within 21 days after the results have been released. 

The students are expectant and believe they will perform well and would be given the chanceto access the Free Senior High School introduced by the government. This will give students an opportunity to access senior high school education at the cost of government.

Government has indicated that the double-track system which was introduced to take care of the huge numbers that enter the secondary schools will be a thing of the past when the 2019/2020 academic year starts. This will ensure that the 2019 BECE batch do not experience the double-track system. They will spend more time in school as was previously the case until the double track was introduced by goverment a year ago. 

Students, parents and schools are all hoping and believing that the wait is over for the 2019 BECE results to be released. We all wait for 28th August to see what happens. 

The expected date for the release of the 2019 BECE result is August 28th 2019. We wish all BECE candidates the best of luck and also hope, WAEC releases the result even earlier than that. It is just three days 4 days from the day of publication.
