Nigerian Singer, Adekunle Gold has recounted his ordeals and has revealed what he is battling with.
The 35-year-old singer disclosed why he begged God to take his life when he was 20. The singer on Friday 15th July revealed he was born with sickle cell disease.
The singer stated that it was life and death for him and he went through hell, whether physical, mental, or financial he went through it all.
According to the star, it was very tough and painful living with sickle cell and no one understood what he was going through, he lived with restrictions throughout his childhood.
The musician revealed that it was only him, God, and his mind and he had to survive many lonely nights.
He recounted how his family didn’t have money to go to the hospital and how he had to endure.
He reiterated that God has been so faithful to him and didn’t let him die because he had a lot of plans for him.
