Not many actors and/or actresses who have crossed that line between acting and reality have eventually been successful at politics, just a few have scaled through. But Ghanaian actor now turned politician is aiming to represent his people at the seat of parliament.
And after getting the mandate of his constituency, he is showing full appreciation for the gestured bestowed on him. He clarified: “I am extremely grateful to Almighty God,my family, friends, loyal delegates and supporters who contributed their time and effort to my campaign.
I want to thank my great party the NDC and the elders for this opportunity.
I am deeply moved by the expression of confidence from delegates, people of Ayawaso West Wuogon.”
“I cannot do this job without the involvement and openness of the people I represent. You have taken the time to share with me your ideas, your concerns, and I sincerely appreciate your willingness to discuss what really matters to you. Not only have you entrusted me with the responsibility of speaking on your behalf as your parliamentary candidate but you also continue to provide me with the ideas and feedback I need to make this constituency great.
For that, I thank you once again. We will rise above politics to do what is best for this constituency and the nation as a whole.
Thank you. It’s time for Ayawaso West!
