As we reported earlier about a 10-year-old girl who gave birth to baby girl at a hospital in Benue State, Nigeria.
Outraged by this shocking news, some social media users reported the situation to the police station and the police rapidly commenced inquires leading to the arrest of a suspect.An 18-year-old man identified as Terna Taga.
Allegedly, Terna Taga defiled the orphan who risides in an internally displaced persons camp in Benue State, Nigeria.
The PRO of Benue State Police Station, DSP Catherine Anene speaking to the media in Makurdi on Wednesday disclosed that Taga was arrested on Tuesday evening and was in custody for further investigations.
She said;
”The command will decide on the next line of action after full interrogation and investigation into the case,”
The news of the young girl’s heartbreaking pregnancy is very tragic, she was dumped in a General Hospital by an unknown person whilst heavily pregnant.
