Ibidun Ituah Ighodalo, ex beauty queen pronounced dead

Nigeria has had to deal with a lot of deaths this year with notable celebrities giving up the

ghost as well as some citizens who died due to the deadly Coronavirus crisis.

With some deaths still fresh in the memory, Nigerians were struck with a bad news when

ex beauty and wife of Pastor Ituah Ighodalo, Ibidun Ajayi Ighodalo was pronounced

dead at the age of 39.

The event management and décor guru was reported to have died after suffering cardiac

arrest this in her hotel room in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, where she went to work.

With Nigerians still mourning her death we’ve decided to give you 5 things the beautiful

screen diva will be remembered for:

1. Philanthropist:

Ibidun Ajayi Ighodalo before her death was a great philanthropist who could go any length

just to help people who were in need.

She founded Ibidun Ighodalo Foundation (IIF) some years ago, a non-profit organisation

she started to raise awareness about infertility and to provide grants for couples that

require fertility treatments such as In Vitro Fertilization (IVF) and Intrauterine

Insemination.

2. Entrepreneur:

Though Ibidun is dead but she will be greatly remember for changing the face of Event

planning in Nigeria.

Ibidun Ighodalo decided to go into event planning just years after she won the beauty

pageant and made sure she made a name for self in the industry.

Her company, Elizabeth R, decorates Lagos during Christmas/Festive seasons.

During Fashola’s tenure in 2007, she was given the arduous task of beautifying Lagos.

She was once adjudged the Queen of decorations.

3. Loving Mother:

Despite the difficulties she had in welcoming her children, Ibidun Ighodalo showed how

loving she is as she decided to adopt two loving children whom are Keke and Zenan.

Ibidun Ighodalo showed love to her adopted children as many began to wonder what she

would have done if they were her kids.

4. God Fearing:

Take a look at the history book and try to find a beauty queen that decided to get married to a clergyman.

Not disputing the fact that others are also God Fearing, Ibidun Ighodalo showed her

passion for Christ by getting married to a clergyman in Pastor Pastor Ituah Ighodalo, Head
