Award-winning Hollywood actor, Channing Tatum officially declared his decision to pause from social media to “get inspired and create again”.

Tatum, 39, shared on his Instagram page Wednesday that he suffers to feel inspired and creative since spending time on social media.

“I’m gonna go and just be in the real world for a while and off my phone, ”

he wrote.

“I’ll probably come back at some point. But if I do I want to have direction or a clear point of view of why I’m on here and what I’m putting out there.”

He has been featured in hit films like “Magic Mike” and “21 Jump Street,” and has two production companies, Free Association Productions, and Iron Horse Entertainment.

“The thing about creativity… in my experience, is she always comes knocking when you just aren’t looking,” he added in the post’s caption. “I’d say you’ve got a pretty good record creatively, she’ll be back when the times right.”

As classified as world class actor, he has more than 8 million followers on Twitter and over 17 million followers on Instagram. He has previously opened up to fans on the platforms about going to therapy and his relationship with Jessie J — even posting a nude photo of himself she took.
