Popular UK based Nigerian comedian and fitness enthusiast, Wale Gates have insisted that paying Police Men a sum of one million naira monthly won’t make them act right as the fight against Police Brutality continue.
Police Brutality have become one of the most trending issues affecting Nigerians
in the past few years and things took a new turn some days ago when
Nigerian youths stood up to fight against the injustice.
With protest still going on across states in the country, a lot of expert in all walk of life
have been giving an advise on how the Federal Government can put an end to the
killings happening round the states especially the police brutality that have
become a consistent issue.
Some have insisted that increasing the monthly salary of this so called police men
will put an end to Police Brutality in the country and everything will return normal.
Wale Gates have however noted that the solution towards ending police brutality in
the country is not by paying Police Men as huge sum of money as their salary.
Reacting to this development, Wale Gates tweeted:
