Pastor Sends Warning Letter To Members For Dancing “Azonto And Shaku Shaku” In Church

As dance and fashion trend never cease to emerge every year in Africa.Different dance styles become frenzy on various internet platforms before it makes it’s way to funerals, parties, churches among other places.

A lot of christian leaders frown against these worldly dance. They’re mostly tagged as dances from the plans of the devil to control the youth so anyone who engages in such dances is does so to glorify Satan.

Well, choir-members of First Baptist Church, Agbede in Nigeria happened to have exhibited some “crazy” trending dance moves during a church service and their pastor has reacted in a form of warning letter.

In the letter, they were asked to desist from dance styles which does not glorify God.

See what he penned down in the letter below;

“The disciplinary committee of the above-named church choir hereby write to give you a warning as regard your dance style during church service most especially during the praise and worship section.

The committee hereby write to tell you that you should kindly stop this dance style that doesn’t glorify God during worship service as there would be a close watch on you to see if you’re going to change before you would be asked to face the disciplinary committee if there is still no change n your style of dancing.”
