reopen Tertiary Institutions across the country edges closer.

The novel pandemic Coronavirus crisis have caused a lot of breakdown in all sector

including the education system as students of various institution have been forced to stay

at home for the past three months.

With students lamenting about the negative impact the deadly virus has had on their

academic, talks are ongoing among authorities on how schools will reopen.

This dream is now set to become a reality as UNILAG gets a COVID-19 detection robots

that will be used in checking the status of student.

The robot was unveiled today by authorities of the school and some medical personnel

as they aim to ensure students of the institution are in safe hands when they eventually resume.

University of Lagos (UNILAG) had earlier converted its Medical Center into an emergency ward where patients are being cross-checked and treated.

This was done so as to aid the Government as it was also necessary because of the

COVID-19 pandemic which has begun to record person-to-person spread in our country.

Students of the institution will be glad they are in safe hands when they finally resume,

a date that is yet to be confirmed by the Government.
